This is a post-script to an article I wrote for the Steven Spielberg Film Society in 1985, when I observed the 10th anniversary of my first viewing of the movie Jaws:

Last Saturday happened to be the 50th anniversary of that fateful cinema visit, in January 1976, when my Dad took me and three school friends to where Jaws was playing on its first theatrical run in the UK, at the Plaza, Regent Street in London. To celebrate the occasion of my 50th Jaws-aversary, Patti took me to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Museum to visit Jaws: The Exhibition.
