The Internet can be a sewer pipe of crazy. But, sometimes, it can instill wonder.

Decades ago, when I started blogging on my ancient iWeb-constructed website, it was simply to jot down random thoughts. The only things I ever tried to sell were The Glitch DVDs (obligatory link) but I was never interested in monetizing my content, or cultivating a brand. Perhaps naively, I still refuse to stuff ads into my ‘Flashfilms News’ at Wix. I'm mainly here for my mental health, and, occasionally, ‘Looky here: I made this.’

Lately, I’ve been amazed to see my ramblings visited by people in 33 countries. Don’t worry, I’m not harvesting you for Spam. But here’s where we’ve been reaching, ranked from most numerous, to people in far-off places that possibly clicked by accident:

I have no idea how many of these are bots, or LLMs scraping this site to glean strategies for plans of global domination. But, to human visitors: thanks for all the clicks.

I will continue to post when I have Flashfilms News. I do have some fun projects in the pipeline––magazine and book-shaped––and a big creative project that I have had on a long, slow simmer. So, subscribe and share, if you are so inclined.
